FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: I have the most amazing kids in the world, can I bring them?
A: In order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!
Q: My friend loves weddings, can he/she come?
A: The invitation mailed to you indicates the invited guests. If you have any questions, please let us know.
Q: What should I wear?
A: We recommend semi-formal, although as long as you are there we will be happy!
Q: I've never been to St. Helena/Napa Valley in November. Is it going to be cold?
A:St. Helena is gorgeous in the fall – historically, temperatures are in the high 70s. It does cool down at night, but when you're outside you'll be comforted by heaters. Inside, you'll be warmed by dancing. If you get cold easily, we recommend bringing an additional layer.
Q: We've never attended a Catholic wedding and don't know what to expect. If we are not Catholic, can we still attend the ceremony?
A: Of course! Our ceremony will be open to guests of all faith.
Q: Can we drive our own car / rental car to the ceremony and reception?
A: Unfortunately, no. The reception venue, Farmstead, also functions as a retail restaurant and so reserves use of their parking lot for their regular diners. Transportation will be provided for guests to and from St. Helena Catholic Church. Further details can be found on our Transportation page.
Q: How will we get from the ceremony to the reception?
A: We will provide transportation from the St. Helena Catholic Church to Farmstead. Further details can be found on our Transportation page.
Q: You didn't ask me what I wanted for dinner, how will you know?
A: Farmstead will be serving a delightful farm to table dinner, family style! This means that you will be able to choose any of our selected entrées for dinner. Vegetarian options will also be available. And of course, there will be plenty of libations and desserts!
Q: Who took all of these beautiful photos all over the website?
A: Robin Jolin is our extremely talented and friendly photographer. She took our engagement photos and will be capturing the wedding too!
